The Power Station can be used for three main applications: Power reduction of powerful amplifiers without the disadvantages of conventional power attenuators, an amplification for small amps, and as a high quality adjustable reactive load for silent recording.

Amazing unit

Buy this if you want to tame your non-mastervolume amp without
Sacrificing your tone. I use it with my Marshall 1959HW. The PS2 adds an effectsloop to your amp, which is nice, especially when you are using older amps.

good as it gets

I waited a long time for a device like this..it is pricey but it's worth it. It makes musicians life much easier and opens up interesting options...
and the sound is unquestionable quality... I play Mezzabarba loaded with EL34 and Egnater 88, loaded with KT88, and it,s just superb...

Big Amp? Small Room? No problem!

Master volume works? yes it does. Does it sound good? Yes if you know what you're doing... But does it sound the best? absolutely not. I have been advised by some guitar players that I don't need an attenuator for a MV amp... Also some believe that you definitely would benefit from it and they can't use their amp without having one. Well... I agree with the second group. My Marshall Silver Jubilee 2555x and my 2203x came alive as soonas I connected them to the Power station, notes are more pronounced, have a lot of saturation, more sustain and my Marshalls roar. Can't think of using my amps without my PS2A anymore. Shoutout to Fryette for building such an amazing product. Now you should decide too, which side are you? if you are in the same side as me... Fryette Power Station is one of the best attenuators money can buy...if not the best. Good luck

Excellent piece of gear

Does exactly what is intended - fantastic quality and allows me to hear the cranked sound of my Two Rock SSS 100W at bedroom volume.
