Guild D-260CE Deluxe NAT

this is a 6 week update.
I have,.... since I bought the guitar, adjusted the truss rod & taken a little off the saddle height, but this is a personal preference to get a very low action from when it was shipped.
but I have to set up a little closer to my personal preference & its a lot nicer now I have to set up to......me.
easier to play, & that makes it nicer to play.
the sound & feel of the guitar is still the same.

so for anyone reading this?......the guitar is good, but make sure you set it up to your preference, then out becomes a little better.

This was my first time using Thomann. It wasn't a small order either in cost, but they are trustworthy & I will use them again when needed.

this is my first real acoustic guitar & to be fair I have wanted a Guild for a few years.
I had a Crafter electro acoustic years ago but The sound is so much nicer & balanced on the Guild. softer, mellow & with more low end.
The neck feels nice, & the weight seems okay & balanced, & it certainly has volume in sound.
I have to get used to a bigger bodied guitar, but I'm happy with it.

shipment & delivery was quick & secure.

If possible I will update a review after some time with the guitar.

I have played with the D-240E some years before and from then I wanted to buy a Guild.
It was my first time buying a guitar from the Internet, but since I already played a similar model I thought I would go for it.
From the time I placed the order everything runned smoothly.
After some days the Guitar arrived and the packing from Thomman was superb!
With this prize and even with the starting prices, is the best guitar that you could buy.
This guitar is 10 times better than the model that I played and remembered.
I was so amazed by the woods and the details from mother of pearl rosette and guild "peak" headstock logo.
The top has a small beautiful grain and the ebony back and sides give a nice contrast. The neck is smooth and comfortable.
Obviously I had to set it up to my personal preferences.
This guitar is loud and the sound is full and shiny without any annoying buzzing noise.
The biggest surprise was the recording sound of the guitar:
combining piezo with mic and I was blown away!
