Great way to take your sound on stage

I’m playing gigs with this over a year now, and must say it’s a life saver. Quality of capture is amazing, option to buy packs with decent captures of famous amps and other gear is very broad.

Since I’m using it live, sound guys are my best friends, setup is stupidly easy, sound is great. One minus for some might be only three buttons to change the tone, I’m okay with that because I’m using exactly 3 tones live - but I saw online many people connecting MIDI pedal boards to it and working fine.

Amazing sound, horrible UI

I could never cope with the UI.
Don’t get me wrong. The quality of the sounds you get from this device, is surprising given the price.

But the UI on the unit and in the software was the deal breaker for me. If you can live with it then you have, in my opinion, one of the best sounding amp modellers.

Not what I was expecting

The unit became faulty in less than one month, unluky perhaps. The output started to make loud noises and poping almost blow my speakers. Sound captures are great, but it's too limited linear machine! Not many options...the PC interface was terrible to use, messy UI! The unit needs to be connected to power supply to be used as an audio interface. The noise gate cuts off sharp not a smooth signal noise cut
Too many negative factors to compete just with the good sound quality.

Great tones

Just bought this pedal after finding great guitar tones in the Tonex Max software for my recordings (clean and hi-gain). I wanted to bring those tones to live gigs without carrying all the gear I’m used to. Turns out it was a great surprise - just plugged it into the front of house, and it was ready to go, loud and clear.
The IK software can be a bit of a hassle at first, with the initial setup (registering, connecting, managing libraries, etc.), but once you’re up and running, it’s all fun. Another thing to note is that if you expect to match the sound exactly - or as close as possible - to what you hear directly from the software, you might need to adjust the trim input and level your stuff accordingly.
Overall, the quality and experience with this little unit were a pleasant surprise. The interface controls are really handy - you can adjust almost every parameter, switch amps, turn off the cab, tweak modulation, and more - however, the "Alt" option in the pedal might be a little misleading, since you're adjusting two different things in the same knob, but you can live with it.
Gotta say, for the price, it’s definitely worth it!
