Fantastic resonant sound

I'd like to start off with saying I'm still breaking this recorder in, but I can already tell this is going to be my go to tenor.
i own quite a few tenor recorders, but as I'm sure many will agree, one just isn't enough.
I was drawn to the Küng recorder as it's a maker I've heard many great things about but never owned one. and I can honestly say I can see why many people love them.
From the get go of it arriving I had to give it a little test and wow, the bass on this beauty is amazing. The low registers are strong and rich with a resonance you can almost feel vibrate through you. This is something that is usually a weakness across tenor recorders, but not with this one. I'd describe it as the Opera singer of tenor recorders as it really does have that kind of power behind it. That being said, it does take more breath than other tenors, but you soon adjust.
The tone from the cherrywood is also beautiful and to look as it not dissimilar to a pearwood. To hold it is a dream. As I noticed in other feedback, the stretch is much more manageable than say other keyless wooden tenors.
Küng have managed to create a tenor that is strong across all registers, easily a soloist instrument, comfortable to hold and play, and a delight all round.
i think I've been converted to this maker and already eyeing up the Superio Tenor range.
Well worth the price and then some.
As always, Thomann were fantastic and the recorder arrived well packaged and in great time (roughly a week to the UK).
The only niggle, and it is a niggle really, is that I wish these came in with a hardcase rather than the durable material one that's supplied. Other than that, it's perfect.
