Feels a bit weird trying to rate and review MB's Dual Rectifier.
It is an absolute monster. I always wanted one and now as I got it
I don't want anything else.
My honest advice is:
If you can afford it ... get one, if you can't ... save up and then get one.
I saved up hard for months to finally be able to purchase one of these and my god it was worth waiting every minute for. This thing can hit absolutely any tone you desire. I've played from the likes of Green Day and Muse on this and purely by notching up the gain a bit I am able to play Trivium and Machine Head etc. The head its self is built like a tank and I am sure it will last many many years. The most impressive thing for me about this amp is how much body it has. I run it through the matching mesa rectifier 2x12 cab and you can feel the low end from this surging through the ground. Notch the volume up a little bit (yes a little bit because this thing is LOUD! I have managed to achieve 25% volume at most so far and it drowned out a drum kit easily) and you can actually feel the air being blasted out of the speakers if you stick your hand about a foot in front of it.
In summary you should buy one of these if you can afford it. If you can't afford it then get saving and reap in the benefits of your labour. Worth every penny!
