Works well if you find the right string gauges. No manual though so you have to figure out the installation process yourself. The hole is too narrow for thicker B strings. Thomann should have supplied that information beforhand. I wasted a perfectly good B string because it didn't fit and broke during the process. Other than that, it is a usable product.

I use this adapter with great pleasure because it really holds the strings down perfectly along the neck, even if you miss a genuine double ball strings or want more choices to select the right dimensions of i.e. your G-string. It is quite handy and the metal is durable and strong. Don't forget to oil the screws regularly to prevent too much wear and tear over time, and you have a great adapter. It is a great invention for headless for the Steinberger basses. And the price is quite fair too. My highest recommendations to this product.
