I use this for occasional gigs. I might spend more money if I was relying on it for daily use on the road.
I do PA for our own duo and sometimes bigger groups or events. I have a similar 4XLR + 4Jack snake from Thomann for send and return with a 4-channel mixer and I use this one when I want to add extra channels with a second mixer.
It all works fine and ideal for small venues. If Thomann did a similar priced 8+2 I would prefer that instead of two snakes but this is good value.
Update, I now use an 8 channel mixer for acoustic groups so the combination of these two cheap snakes is perfect. 10 XLR channels plus 4 jacks for returns.
Another update, I've moved to a digital Stagebox mixer and this is great as a sub-box on stage, in fact I'm probably buying another to give me 12 channels in two locations on stage. It will keep the cable clutter down and let me use short cables. it's just about the only 10m multicore box available, short for FOH mixing but plenty long enough on stage.
