- Selectable EQ types with "Brown knob" for a smoother, more musical filter response and "Black Knob" for more precise filtering
- Dynamics section with compressor and expander
- Filter and EQ can be placed either in the signal path before the dynamics or used in their sidechain
SSL 4000 G Bus Compressor:
- Legendary bus and summing compressor based on the integrated summing compressor of the 1980s SSL G-series analogue consoles
- Inject cohesion, punch and assertiveness to the mix without compromising transparency
- Complete parameter set for detailed processing
- Popular auto-release function and manual setting of control times
- Sidechain with optional high-pass filter to avoid pumping effects caused by dominant low-frequency signal
- Auto Fade function uses SSL's own curves with fade times between 1 and 60 seconds
