I use these paired with two emg humbuckers, these strings really cut through are nice to play and have a great dynamic range.
The price tag may be higher than your usual strings, but so is the quality. My experience is that they last longer, and keep their high output as well. And if you clean/sweep them after use they will feel new for sometime.
