Convincing sound from this little unit

It's been a little over three years since I bought the first pack of LD Maui 5, and it has served me well for small jobs where it has easily managed to amplify vocals and guitar. In fact it plays a lot louder than you think it would. However, when I recently purchased a Viscount Legend full pedal electric organ for permanent installation in my office at home, I acquired another set and these two now bring a great sound in stereo from the organ with plenty of bottom from the pedals and a pleasant treble.
In the bands I also play in, we have bigger and fancier - and of course better sounding PA gear, but I have to say that these small and easy to handle sets are worth every penny. Not least because they can also be operated without connection to the mains for hours. The set deserves five stars for the price - sound ratio. I would gladly buy them once more.

Great Speakers

I have 2 Maui 5 Go’s. I can’t fault them. I purchased them because I only DJ at kids parties and needed a portable and lightweight speaker system. They are super light and sound great. I can host parties for upto about 60 people with ease. Seconds to set up and pack down, the Bluetooth feature is very handy and the bonus of being battery powered is a big plus.

Highly recommended by me.

We do love this speakers , they looks great , sound great , it's ideal choice where is no power , they are great for micking and back ground music for wedding ceremony or funerals in middle of nohere or small corp events

The Maui 5, good stuff.

I leave this at one of my regular gigs so I don't have to carry amps around.
It has a good set of features, bluetooth, stereo link for another Maui5 and enough inputs to be used as is.
No effects and only two tone knobs for treble and subwoofer levels.
This means you would make the most of it by adding a mixer or preamp.
It is quite versatile and it works well for many kinds of gigs, can be loud to a point but I haven't tried it full power at a busy venue, but I think for background music at a mid size room with 100-150 people is good enough.
Transporting it is alright with the set of bags, but I would not commute with it as the base part is quite heavy and painful on the hand to carry for a while.
