Used this for backup vocals so far (I am a drummer) and with some very slight EQ it is literally impossible to tell the difference between this and SM58 in its sound. Of course the design is weaker and less sturdy, but just be careful to not drop it and you will have a great vocal mic for a bargain.

Very clear sound, good output and low acoustic / touch noise (sound from pa and noise through the mike stand - from floor etc.)
This is my favorit lowcost mike on the market. Very much close to the real thing from Shure :-)
