Stainless Steel Tongue Drum Perseus "Polaris" is PERFECTION!
AnnieM. 12.04.2022
Resonance, sustain, vibration, harmonics and stunningly beautiful! I searched for a very long time to find a tongue drum with rich, warm, harmonic overtones and long sustain without that metallic "propane tank" sound. This unique stainless steel drum exceeds all expectations! It looks as beautiful as it sounds, and people are drawn to it like none other. The Polaris tuning is hauntingly memorable and every steel "tongue" produces a clear, strong note. I love sharing the drum with my friends and watching their faces light up as they create real music. I use my new drum in meditative sound concerts with singing bowls and gongs and am overjoyed with the harmonic synergy that is produced.

This is my favorite tongue drum
Nelson_Baboon 20.12.2021
What I find in general is that the easiest of these to play (the tongue pan instruments) don't necessarily have the greatest variety of sound. The Polaris is harder to play with the hands (my preferred method by far over the mallets), but very much worth the practice, especially with the high tones. This is an extremely expressive instrument, built incredibly well and it looks great. I love playing it. I appreciate the originality behind its design - i know of no other tongue pans that are like this one.
