Pigtronix Philosophers Tone Micro

I bought this to replace my DynaComp. It has a similar type of sound, but with more sustain and is extremely quiet, even at high settings. Plus it comes with a blend knob, which is super useful for retaining some of your natural attack at more aggressive settings. It is tiny, but feels extremely sturdy and well-made, with high quality knobs that turn with a satisfying resistance. If you want a lot of features, like side-chaining, different ratios, etc, look elsewhere, but if you just want a basic compressor with blend that is extremely noiseless and has a great sound, this is very good value for money. The only downside might be that mini pedals feel less firm than bigger pedals when stomping on them on your pedalboard.
