We bought this sax for my daughter when she entered music school last
year, now she is successfully finishing her first year and she loves it. It is more than enough as a beginner instrument, very comfortable and playable for children (my daughter is 7 years old). Besides, it is really beautifully crafted, nice colour and engravings, which is not the least for a girl. I am a hobbies player and wanted to try a Thomas instrument, wow was I impressed ! was so much that started taking my playing seriously now I play very regularly I am no pro but I feel good about my playing and thanks to that little beauty. I have never had an issue with intonation, nothing broke even dropping a couple times, the only thing was the finish started getting some black marks which I think is quite common with lacquered instruments when cleaning service is not consistent. Will recommend this instrument to anyone who’s is looking for a good starter.
