I have been struggling for a while with mouthpiece cushions that are softer and thicker, as my front teeth are quite sharp and make those pads not last for long. These transparent and thinner pads from Vandoren are much more resilient while still providing enough comfort. They are also non-slippery (they feel more like rubber than smooth plastic). Great product, I think I will be sticking to them from now on!

Only con is that they are a bit finicky if you miss the perfect center and if you peel them off then stick it again, it wouldn't look so nice and blended in.
