I've ordered the XSW IEM to replace my old t.bone IEM 75. I read mixed reviews, but a friend of mine had positive experiences with the XSW IEM, so I decided to give it a shot. I'm very grateful for Thomann's 30 day return policy!
I thought that the poor reviews might have been a result of user errors, so I read the full user manual. I performed a manual scan of the channels as detailed in the manual and pretty much all channels showed up as interference free. I then powered the transmitter up and was quite surprised with the amount of intermittent noise and dropouts. Costing three and a half times as much as the t.bone IEM 75, I would expect it to be a decent upgrade, but in my experience the t.bone actually outperforms it in terms of RF. The sound quality when there's no interference and dropouts is nice. The sound is a bit fuller and nicer than the t.bone.
However, the dropouts and noise are so irritating that I had to return the XSW IEM. In the same price category, I bought the Mipro MI-58 and couldn't be happier with it so far.
