I own a fender american vintage 2 guitar with rosewood neck and because the neck has vintage radius, frets and specs I decided to buy one with a maple fretboard and soft V profile to fit on a custom made body and it was the best decision I took.
First the neck is flawless INCLUDING fret work and truss rod etc. A lot of people complain about the price of Fender american necks etc but I couldn’t be more surprised with the quality and craftsmanship. The neck feels amazing and even the contours of the headstock on a vintage neck wasnt forgotten. If you want a high quality neck is worth spending the money in one of these as you wont be disappointed. I am a very critical, OCD, perfectionist kind of person and I can honestly say that this is one of the best necks I have ever played. (for the record, I own 14 strats, custom shops, american and japanese fenders).
